The first-ever store to offer only products made in DC celebrates its opening this weekend, October 21 and 22. Mayor Bowser was on hand for the soft opening earlier in the week. The store also features delicious food and coffee by local merchants. The store has been generating some buzz in the media, including the Washington Post and DCist.

The DC Poster Project has reached 40 different neighborhoods and locales. Time to show them all at once! The opening will be from 5–8pm on Saturday, July 29.
The event will also feature works of other Pleasant Plains Workshop artists, and other artists at Edgewood Studios will have their spaces open for visitors as well. Edgewood Studios:
