Victory Dance Creative is a full-service design practice based in Washington, DC.
We develop creative, thoughtful solutions. We love what we do.
Victory Dance Creative (VDC) provides high-quality design services for a diverse list of clients, including those in the nonprofit, restaurant and hospitality, retail, music industry, real estate, and education fields. Our work is sometimes highly expressive, but always appropriate, strategic, and goal-oriented. Functionality is number one.
VDC follows Fire Studio, Anthony Dihle's award-winning practice whose work focused primarily on posters, publication design, and the music industry.
Anthony Dihle is the founder and creative director of VDC. His work has been widely exhibited and published. He recently finished his term as president of the AIGA DC, the professional association for design. He earned a BFA in Graphic Design from the Rhode Island School of Design. He brings over 10 years experience to VDC, with a background in agency, freelance, and in-house environments. He occasionally hosts design workshops and speaks at universities and design schools.
Examples on this site are by no means comprehensive. Services include print and digital publication design, brand building, infographics, signage and wayfinding systems, map design, illustration, event and poster design, presentation design, and website design.
Posters are an area of specialization for VDC. A poster is never just a poster. Their visual elements are often used for web graphics, social media banners, and other printed and digital collateral.
We have printed over 100 editions of posters for local bands and internationally-known musicians, as well as film festivals, comedians, academic competitions, markets, restaurants, and business launches. Screenprinting is a special service offered with some projects. VDC maintains a print studio as part of the Pleasant Plains Workshop collective.
