Announcing the DC Neighborhood Project

We recently unveiled our DC Neighborhoods Poster Project at our booth at Columbia Heights Day. We love DC and views of DC—not just the well known views of the Capitol Building and monuments (though they are lovely), so we started a project that documents and commemorates the neighborhoods of District. Selfishly, we started with our home turf of Park View and are expanding outward. 18 neighborhoods and counting!

VDC items now available at Avenue Jack

Our Bottle Spikes and woodcut "You Are Home" print are both for sale as of June 2015 at Avenue Jack. They are located just south of Dupont Circle at 1301 Connecticut Ave NW, Washington, DC. Hours are 11am–7pm Monday through Saturday and noon–5pm on Sundays. 

The You Are Home prints are three-color woodcuts, hand printed with durable oil-based inks. The Bottle spikes are genuine salvaged railroad spikes which have been drilled, cut, filed, and finished with a thin urethane coating to protect against rust.
